The Quintessential Paradox

In front of the chirpy office zoom gathering, an exhausted mind zoned out,
Slides flashed left-right, however the mind was preparing for another bout.
The Tide of Time was limiting his flying journey to a path which was orthodox,
The participant’s heart searching for zenith, stuck in the Quintessential Paradox.

The inner chorus swaying between the realms of reality and perception,
The childish audacity still caught in pursuit of never-ending perfection.
Life’s race, falling off tracks, halted untimely, with a failed humane gearbox,
The driver’s unwavering zeal for winning, stuck in the Quintessential Paradox.

Traumas and dreams playing momentous games across the time loop,
While the mind was ready to break free, engaging in an adventurous coup.
Thoughts and actions driving the sick patient to look for the right toolbox,
The past miseries pulling back his spirit, stuck in the Quintessential Paradox.

Journey and destination questions eroding the dreamer’s unparalleled thirst,
Any lively body-motion would outwit the lifeless soul even at the laboured worst.
Looking inwards to fulfil the revocable void between the self and societal equinox,
The poet penned down his empty heart, not stuck in the Quintessential Paradox.
